WordPress Case Study
D’Lashes WordPress Website Design & Site Rescue
D’Lashes Lash & Wellness Spa is a luxury lash and wellness spa in Beverly Hills. We designed and developed their website on WordPress and Elementor, then rescued it when the old hosting kept crashing: we found the problems, cleaned out infected files, moved the site to faster hosting and fixed the mobile layout. Get the website stable again
The D’Lashes website kept going down. Visitors saw the WordPress install screen or database errors, and the admin dashboard showed a critical error. For a spa that takes bookings and sells lash products online, every outage meant lost visits.
Crashes with no single obvious cause
The old host, Network Solutions, reported that the site kept going over its database query limit of 300,000 queries an hour. Checking the site turned up infected and unknown files, including a suspicious theme, stray HTML files and unwanted plugins. Removing errors one at a time did not stop the crashes on that hosting.
Clean it up, then move to better hosting
We removed the infected theme, files and suspicious plugins, then migrated the whole website to SiteGround, including the business email and DNS, so the inbox and domain kept working through the move. After the migration we fixed mobile layout issues, including the menu dropdown and image strips on small screens.
What we did
Repaired, cleaned and moved safely
Crash and error diagnosis
Traced the database errors and critical errors using Query Monitor and the host’s own audit, and confirmed the query limit problem.
Malware and plugin cleanup
Removed an infected theme, stray HTML files and suspicious plugins that did not belong on the site.
Full move to SiteGround
Migrated the website files, database, business email and DNS from Network Solutions to SiteGround, with the domain staying at its registrar.
Mobile fixes
Fixed the mobile menu dropdown and cleaned up image strips so the site reads well on phones.

What Dionne Said
Whew! Ameer Ali at Primora Commerce has been a GODSEND! When my website went down, I was nervous about what that meant for my business and my clients. Ameer came to my rescue with patience, focus, and a plan. He recommended SiteGround and handled the transition from my old hosting while keeping me updated every day. This was a complicated project, and he worked late some nights to meet our deadline. What I appreciated most was how calmly he answered my questions and helped me feel comfortable trusting him with my website, passwords, and access. As a business owner, that trust means EVERYTHING! This is my second project with Ameer, and I’m so excited about what we accomplished. If you need a knowledgeable, dependable web developer who follows through, I highly recommend Ameer. Thank you for helping me breathe again!
